Coruscate work with a variety of masks, including the neutral mask, character masks and the smallest mask in the world, the clown’s red nose! Performance using masks helps to develop awareness of the body and space, characterisation, physical engagement and mime technique. Our ‘Masks in Motion’ scheme of work leads participants on a journey of self-discovery, culminating in a showcase of devised and improvised mask sketches.
